Purpose and Positivity

Hello friends,

Late last year, I took a two-day personal retreat.

It was one of the greatest things I've ever done.

It was simple. Just a few days away from the house and family to reflect on the previous year, and what I wanted my life to look like in 2021.

So far I've had my most productive and fulfilling months ever. I chose a primary theme this year of "purpose and positivity", and find those themes constantly in mind while making decisions about what to say or how to spend my time. Especially on social media.

A recent study on bats found that individual brain cells change their behavior when a bat focuses attention on a particular object. Scientists can pinpoint exactly where attention is focused due to the way bats use echolocation, which they use to link attention with brain activity.

This is important because it could lead to new developments in understanding attention disorders like ADHD.
